Since the season is here, that is a great question! If you have your house on the market, the most important thing is keep your sidewalk, driveway, and porch clear of ice and snow when you have a showing. The last thing you want is for somebody to slip and fall. Once inside, neat and clean is important, also bright, cheery and warmer than outside. If you have a fireplace, it is a cozy touch to have a fire burning, whether gas or wood. If you don’t have a fireplace, candles would be nice. Since there isn’t much color outside, you can brighten up the inside. Winter can be a dreary time for home shopping. For sellers, it is the best time to have your house on the market because inventory is usually lowest in January and February.
